According to the announcement, principal photography on the Canada/U.K. co-production will also film in London, England.

With such a mass appeal premise, combined with a highly acclaimed award-winning cast, and exceptional creative team, we look forward to captivating audiences in 2019.”
This is a month of firsts for Lost Girl castmates Kris Holden-Ried and former partner in (covering up fae) crime, K.C. Collins. K.C.'s debut single was released today. (Available here.) And soon to follow is Kris's debut as a music video director of the single.
Congratulate the creative duo at Dragon Con at the end of August! Link to the video will be posted here as soon as I get my giddy hands on it.
Edit: here it is!
It was announced today that Kris Holden-Ried will join the cast of Vikings in their fifth season as the warrior "Eyvind". The show is currently filming in Ireland, and may be why the lanky Canadian teased his twitter followers with shots of the Emerald Isle a few days ago.
If you want to catch up on Vikings, you can do so on History.com, History.ca, History on Demand or iTunes.
I'd love to say "called it" because when I watched the latest episode of Dark Matter that introduced Galactic Authority Chief Inspector Kierkan, I felt that there was more story for that guy. Of course that is in Kris's wheelhouse, uncanny ability to take a look or a line and create a whole story out of it. So glad that the creative minds behind Dark Matter decided to actually give him more.
Will he be the bane of the Raza crew's existence? Will be become an eventual allly? Or something in between?

It's been a while and although there have been no official announcements, Kris Holden-Ried has been dropping hints via his twitter feed of what our beloved lanky thespian has been up too.
First seemed to be an indication he would be appearing in the sophomore season of Dark Matter. The evidence? Behold:
On March 4th, he tweeted this image:
Then several days later he tweeted in response to Zoie Palmer a similar image of the set bathroom.
Conclusion: Either he will be appearing on the show or he snuck on set to steal some props. You decide.
Then in April, he unveiled an image of his new look. Hello face! He included a cryptic tweet about not wanting to to be "Taken" so either he's in the rumored TV series based on the Liam Neeson trilogy, a sequel to the SyFy mini series by the same name, or he's the cargo in the latest Transporter series. Can you imagine? A hard ass sexy female driver is contracted to deliver a package from point A to point B but along the way gets curious and opens the trunk to find Kris Holden-Ried bundled up and gagged? Merry Christmas! But we'll see. I'm sure he'll give the details of whatever project it is as soon as he can. Until then, it's fun to speculate.
I'm rooting for the Transporter thing. Only for the fun gender swap. Who should be cast as the driver though? Hmm...
Kris Holden-Ried's directorial debut was released on New Year's Day. A great way to ring in 2016.
The short also stars Scott Cavalheiro as Luke with appearances by Grant Bradford and Jennifer Liao. So... what would you do if you knew they day you were going to die?
